About Me
I grew up living with family health and mental conditions and I quickly realized the many pitfalls in our society and healthcare system. My passion for improving my life, my family's life, and others grew into my desire to seek a degree in Social Work. I spend my off time exploring the outdoors, running, doing yoga, and living an active lifestyle. Finding peace and creating my own path and adventures.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) therapist. I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Addiction Studies, including my Master's in Social Work and Public Administration at Eastern Washington University. I have my PhD in Public Policy and Administration with a healthcare focus. I have been a social worker for over 17 years. My experiences include behavioral and mental health, Department of Veteran Affairs, Emergency room, Home Health, and Hospice. My counseling approach is person-centered, strengths perspective, multicultural, and solution-focused while providing a safe, non-judgmental, and respectful environment for the therapeutic relationship.
